Tim + Jim

whoo-pee-di-doo-da! :'D
I just thought I might try out another OCT... but I'm not sure. But anyways, Tim & Jim has been around my mind for quite some time. So why not?

Names: Tim & Jim
Species: Color (>8I fft. YES, it's A SPECIES >8U mine.)
Height: 12 inches
About: Tim and Jim are fraternal twins, they are born at the same day but their appearances and personalities differ. One's timid and one's impulsive, they are outcasts of their community, forbidden to return to their homeland for particular reasons (to be revealed?). They are rarely seen apart as Jim can be too reliant on Tim at times, and Tim being too protective.
Abilities: A Color's power revolves around certain ideas, states of matter or general personalities. They can only create one type of object at a time but quantity is not limited. (of course, with their small structure and stuff they can't create eiffel towers or stuff like that, they can create things up to twice their size and no more)

{ Jim }
His powers revolves around his gentle spirit, he can manipulate gas, liquids and softness, gentleness. He uses his powers for defensive/retreating/confusion tactics like: creating clouds or fog to hide themselves or confuse others, creating a small pool of water to slip someone or creating a super soft fluffy cloud to cushion a fall. Other things he can manipulate would be, wind.
logical, Jim is a thinker, he likes being logical and always thinks things through before acting, which sometimes makes up for his lack of offensive abilities and Tim's impulsive actions
cautious, because he's so cautious, Jim's defense screens are usually very effective. The fog he conjures up to hide them can be thick or thin, he can manipulate it with ease as long as he keeps his cool
illusions, Jim has the ability to create illusions by projecting grotesque monsters/images onto a screen of fog or mists. He can't project people's fears because he won't know what their fears are.
can't touch me, Colors have the ability to turn into a gas like substance when they will it to, therefore attacks that lands on them when they're in their gaseous forms would pass right through them

{ Tim }
Tim is quick to jump into fights and is very, very, very protective of his older brother. He's also the strongest of the two. Because of that he usually fights in front, keeping Jim at the back and giving orders. His powers are mostly offensive based, and revolves around solids. Examples are: Creating boulders to crush an opponent, creating spears to throw or swords to wield.
brutal, Tim is the strongest of the two and can be very brutal with his ways. Because of their past he holds little sympathy towards others.
protective, he loves his brother dearly and would hate it if he got hurt, therefore he's very protective of Jim and would react to every little thing concerning Jim. If Jim got hurt he would go into an enraged mode and it's hard to snap him out of it.
light footed, being the offensive fighter and through lots of experience, Tim's trained to be quick and light on his feet

Weaknesses:
{ Colors in General }
A Color's power revolves around light, without light they won't be able to create anything. Therefore how strong a Color is, depends on how much light there is at the time. Sunny = full power, Cloudy = slightly weakened, Moonlight = weak, Darkness = defenseless
fading away, though Colors can turn into a gaseous substance, the longer they stay in this form the harder it is for them to revert back into a living body. If they stay in their gaseous forms for longer than 10 minutes, they'll literally fade away.
fire, Colors catch fire easily

{ Jim }
wimp, a two sided edge blade, he freaks out easily and fears for Tim's safety all the time. When shocked (like if Tim's hurt or something) he might be too stunned to do anything and might slip up. Illusions requires a lot of focus and if its broken, it fades.
weak, despite being the older one, Jim is relatively weak, so he's usually the target of most attacks
slow, because he always stays behind of Tim, Jim was never trained in anyway to run away quickly or evade attacks as sharp as Tim, he's slower than his brother by a fraction when it comes to speed
Tim, they're twins. They love each other. Jim being a weak-ish Color, with Tim injured or incapacitated he'll usually forfeit the fight and run for healing supplies or something

{ Tim }
Jim, if it's not clear enough by now, Tim is VERY PROTECTIVE when it comes to his older brother. Because of the past, he'd sworn to protect Jim with his life. Therefore he'll even throw himself in a bullets path to block it for Jim.
temper, when agitated/angered he starts to neglect everything else and goes into a monster rage mode. His strategic fighting strategies would start to fall apart and it'll be easier to pin him down when there's no particular plan to his attacks at all
cruel, his ways are cruel and he's really unsympathetic to others other than Jim which could earn the twins some enemies do i even need to mention his potty mouth?

Extras:
they are pure black and white, no lines, no shadings either
when Colors create objects, the objects retain the Color's color. So if Tim creates a spear, it'll be black, if he creates a rock it'll be black too. If Jim creates a wave of water, it'll be white, etc.
they can stand on twos or fours, it doesn't matter, and they don't have a preference either
and no, slanted eyes does not affect their visions


Seriously, I had a lot of trouble drawing this ref xD I thought if I were to join another OCT i would create a character that would be easy and quick to draw. Turns out flat colors aren't that easy -shot-
<3 But i love them. I'm practicing how to draw them now lol xD you don't even know how long it took me to draw Tim
